Repeat Prescriptions

Your prescription request is processed by the surgery then sent to your chosen pharmacy who need time to prepare your medication.

Please allow 5 full working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) from ordering before you collect your prescription.

You may order repeat prescriptions by using the following methods:

  1. With SystmOnline New users need to request an account. Please phone the surgery or call in and we can sort this for you. Once you are registered you will be given a username and password.
  2. Return the 'tear off' slip with each prescription that lists the medicines you receive. You should return this slip indicating which items you require.

Repeat prescription requests ARE NOT accepted over the telephone.

If you forget to order your repeat prescription and run out of medicines, you should be aware that our Receptionists are not authorised to give out prescriptions without the doctor’s consent. You may therefore have to wait until the end of surgery for this to be obtained. Our Pharmacist would be happy to advise on the effect of missing your medication and how to cope until your prescription can be authorised.
